In March of 2019 a lifelong friend of Mr. Hale who had been diagnosed with breast cancer called Mr. Hale out of the blue and said: “I heard you were in the Hemp business and was wondering if you had any products that would help me deal with the pain and lack of sleep that the Chemotherapy is causing?” Mr. Hale had several close friends and family members that were sick with cancer and all looking at hemp for a solution. It was at this moment that Mr. and Mrs. Hale along with their team of chemists, scientists, doctors, and engineers that had done a lot of research on the subject made the first bottle of what would ultimately become Moonshine Organics.

Although no one can make any product claims, the stories the Hale’s received back were almost miraculous! Everyone experienced similar results; relief from sore muscles, pain, stress, anxiety, and incredible sleep. Those that took a higher dosage even reported euphoric hallucinations for several hours. They were so good that an entire new company was created to support the demand. Unfortunately the product tasted horrible, unless of course you chased it with a glass of whiskey or a cocktail, then one could bare it. The first thing that came to mind was let’s create Hemp Spirits and so they did. At this time each state’s liquor regulations prevented them from going to market. They hired a Master Crafter and formulated 11 different Spirits; Gins, Vodkas, Whiskeys, Liquoers, and more in hopes the laws would change, but they never did. Fortunately the Hales didn’t give up. The next idea was to create non alcoholic, hemp derived, cocktail flavored, organic “moonshine” and that’s exactly what they did.
